וְדָוִ֣ד אָמַ֗ר אַךְ֩ לַשֶּׁ֨קֶר שָׁמַ֜רְתִּי אֶֽת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֤ר לָזֶה֙ בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר וְלֹא־נִפְקַ֥ד מִכָּל־אֲשֶׁר־ל֖וֹ מְא֑וּמָה וַיָּֽשֶׁב־לִ֥י רָעָ֖ה תַּ֥חַת טוֹבָֽה׃
Ora David aveva detto: 'Sicuramente invano ho tenuto tutto ciò che quest'uomo ha nel deserto, in modo che non mancasse nulla di tutto ciò che gli apparteneva; e mi ha restituito il male per sempre.
